I am doing something that I do not normaly do. I am writing to say that my daughter's wedding at your property exceeded my wildest expectations. The venue was absolutly beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly. Samantha was our coordinator, we could not have custom ordered a more prepared and helpful one.  I have never had food as delicious at a wedding before and the number of compliments from our guests were unbelievable.  From check in to the dance, everything was perfect.  I cannot stop telling people about the experience at Oak Ridge. Please let Samantha know that my wife and I are so pleased with the job she pulled off.  Carmen and Jeremy had the wedding of their dreams, Samantha made it possible.

I wanted to send a special "thank you" for doing such a great job of orchestrating Clarissa and Frank's wedding at Oak Ridge.

I have spent many years in the hospitality industry and I can recognize a great team when I see one. Your team was awesome! Everyone from the Front Desk to Convention Services to the Chef, Wait Staff, Kitchen Crew and Bartenders performed flawlessly. Everyone displayed a sincere feeling they cared about our special day and wanted it to be perfect for us. They succeeded.

We had a tense moment or two as the rain threatened our party, but you were right there helping us make our decision to continue outside or not. You delivered us a portable tent for the string quartet at the last moment. That was great! You kept us informed about timing, and were willing to move us inside with only 45 minutes before show time. WOW!

The rain held off and everything went off as planned and on time. I remember when the Best Man got long winded during his toast and you came to me and said, "The food is getting cold, we need to serve the entrée.". That to me proved to be a sign of Oak Ridges' commitment to excellence. Great job there, nothing worse than cold food! I asked many people afterwards how the food was and they responded with nothing but positive comments.

I was worried about the DVD show coming off as planned. The AV crew, along with their resources, worked all day on it to get it right. They pulled it off. Thanks!

You, Samantha, were Johnny on the Spot. Every time we needed something or had a question, you were right there and I never had to go looking for you and you took care of it STAT. It took the worry out of all of us.

I can't say enough good things. You guys have a high bar there and your performance showed it off well.

My wife and I began a search for possible locations to host our son's rehearsal dinner in May outside of Minneapolis, MN. All of our research would be long distance as we live outside Seattle, WA.

After surfing the internet, we discovered Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center in Chaska, MN. From the on-set of the impressive web page and the courteous staff, to the excellent menu selections, the evening came off flawlessly. Shane Christenson and his entire organization far exceeded our expectations. Having traveled the world and attended similar functions, Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center clearly ranks very near the 'TOP'. IMPRESSIVE across the board is what we experienced. Every detail was thoroughly planned and executed to perfection. The facility, exquisite cuisine and professional staff were 'the best' we've experienced in many years. Our evening at Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center added to my family's beautiful weekend.

Shane and his TEAM should be commended and have clearly earned our "BLUE RIBBON" for excellence. Thank you for a spectacular evening.

Shane was a great guy to work with. He met all my needs and was able to help me any time I needed help. As a person of color, I felt that Shane was able to relate to me and make me comfortable with the entire hotel. I moved my wedding night to Oak Ridge Hotel and Conference Center in a regular room and gave up a honeymoon suite at the Radison because of Shane. I felt right at home there. Fred the bartender made our guests from across the USA and London feel at home in your hotel. Tell him Cheryl said thank you. Nate baked me the most beautiful wedding cake. People are still talking about the taste and the look. What a great guy he was.

The Catering Manager of our function, Shane Christenson, was beyond belief. He was sensational. He was on top of the function knowing that we were going through quite a few personal family illnesses and family crisis issues. He took care of every little detail and reminded me if I forgot something!!!!

I will definitely recommend you and Oak Ridge to anyone I know planning a wedding. My parents wanted me to tell you THANK YOU as well (they do not have email). They were very impressed with the service and with the food. My dad kept making comments about how you and your staff had done such a nice job. Having great food at the reception was my dad's big thing he was nervous about….Needless to say, you blew him out of the water with the quality of the food and service. I could go on and on, so just know how much we all appreciated you and your service.

Oh my!!!! What can I say!!! Katie Lou and Derek's wedding was a dream come true…Oak Ridge was the perfect setting for the special day.

Front desk: Scott Dale found me Sunday morning and had 2 of the gift bags that the last guest checking in did not receive. He apologized and was delivering them to their rooms…over and above in my book…WOW!

Restaurant staff: Very busy and oh so cordial working around the flower designer. They miraculously brought that room together in no time. Cocktail and dinner service was flawless. Kris was available throughout the evening and very concerned with making each and every guest feel welcome, making sure all of our belongings were taken back to the storage area - and they were.

Culinary: Very tasty.. The guests all raved about the dinner…the tenderloin was tender and the sea bass was a melt in your mouth experience…the bride was wishing more guests would have ordered the sea bass, yet understood they had no way of knowing it would be fabulous and exceeding the typical wedding banquet expectation (now they know)!

Shawn: What a late night delight he was with the fajita bar cooking up a storm…the dancers took a break and absorbed some of the wine and cocktails before turning in.

Housekeeping and Engineering: The patio was leafless and that in itself was a huge challenge - thank you. What a Seasons transformation through the night.

Shane: You did a great job of guiding me through the planning and helping me stay calm and collected so I could focus on enjoying the event and not the execution of it.

Dear Management and Staff at Oak Ridge,

I was invited to a wedding reception this past Saturday at your facility. I am a local resident and had heard how pretty it was there, but have never turned down Oak Ridge Drive to see for myself. I found that everything my friend had said was true - the building was tucked away in a quiet, secluded part of town and had nice views, although I didn't have the chance to actually walk the grounds.

Even more than the beauty of your location, I have to say I was very impressed with your hospitality. We have young children and every effort was made to cater to them as far as the menu went and the timing of their servings. At least at our tables, the children were served before the adults. Also, the menu choice was sensible, and worked especially well for one of our children who is allergic to dairy.

To top that off, my personal dining experience was wonderful. As a busy mom who is usually the one cooking and serving the food (and cleaning up afterward), it was so nice to relax and be served. Not only that, but your food was so good. I hadn't had food that well prepared since we had dined at a "fancy" restaurant over a year ago! My compliments to the chefs!

Finally, your staff was courteous and helpful to us throughout the evening. We will definitely be recommending you to family and friends. Please thank your staff who graciously served our needs that night.
