The Chef's Journey
The Chef’s Journey is a combination of the traditional chef’s table, and a focus group.
The ritual of sharing a meal together is imprinted on us in early childhood, and therefore evokes subconscious memories of communication, attention, storytelling, generosity and openness. The traditional focus group, regardless of the sophistication of the moderator, can leave a considerable amount of information untouched, due to the social barriers we feel when on stage.
What does the Chef’s Journey look like?
We start with your subject, issue, problem… and hand it off to our chef’s to create the menu and an experience designed to immerse you in rich discussions around your topic. On the day of your Journey, you and your team will be guided by a team of chef’s.
How long does it take?
The journey takes about a week of lead time to prepare. The actual time frame for the event is based on planning discussions, and can go from 2 hours, to a leisurely dinner with wine.
What is the take-away?
The take away is also determined in the planning discussion. This can range from no – action, as in Think tank style idea development to a broad “Goal Oriented” action plan.
